Protecting Cirrane Airways and its customers from impersonation: after a summer in which fake booking sites and a fake support number took £2.3M from customers, takedowns took a median six days, a fake check-in app reached 40,000 downloads and 11 of 16 domains had no enforced DMARC, the genuine brand sits at the centre of eight impersonation channels — fake sites, lookalike domains, fake apps, social impostors, fake helplines, email spoofing, paid ads and marketplaces — each with its own takedown target. Cases taken down within target rise from 12% to 93% against the Board's 90%, and all 16 domains reach DMARC reject.

What you'll learn

  • Measure brand impersonation honestly — customer harm, detection coverage and takedown time from detection against channel targets — and win a mandate on it.
  • Build detection and takedown that work on every channel — domains, sites, apps, social, helplines, ads, marketplaces and email — with evidence, parallel routes, cluster action and DMARC enforcement.
  • Protect customers directly with an official register, tested warnings and consistent victim care, and use legal, law-enforcement, telecom and payment routes proportionately when routine routes fail.
  • Hold providers to the organisation's own measures, set KRIs with tolerances, price the programme at the margin, name residual risks and win a resolution the Board can be held to.
